Construction on the automobile museum began in late
2006 with the reconstruction of the former grocery store
into a new restaurant. Since then the two brick buildings
have been constructed and the underground exhibition
space is partially finished. The owner has expanded the
site of the museum which will double the size of the
exhibition space and have additional guest houses, with a
total of 40 guest rooms. The first stage of the project is
expected to be completed in 2009.
