Daina has been involved with the project since the mid 1990's,
undertaking several restorations including the Northwest corner
bastion of the perimeter wall. The castle dates back to the 14th
century when Trakai was the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
This individual project involved the construction of a new roof,
gallery, stair and interior exhibition space, as well as the repointing
of all stone and brick masonry.
